If you’re looking for new ways to enjoy the sun, by yourself or with friends and family, then these sofas and seats should spark some ideas for you.
1. A basket of cushions
A basket of cushions is what fist comes to mind when looking at this hanging chair. It would be so cosy to curl up with a book in a seat like than on a warm day. Great for the secret nooks in your garden that aren’t easily seen.
2. Matching sets for a few close friends
A very earthy type of chair, I’m particularly a fan of roped sides. A set up like this caters more to an evening catch up rather than a garden party. It would great for board games with the family, though a bigger table might serve a little better.
3. Hammocks are always welcome
A combination of deckchairs and hammocks gives the impression of someone who know how to spend a summer. Also a net hammock is a lot better suited to hotter weather. This are would be better suited a small family or a friend or two.
4. For smaller spaces
If you’re short on space in your garden then a small, loveseat-like area would be perfect. A snug place to enjoy a morning coffee before the work day.
5. Very vintage and meant for two
Perhaps best spent with a partner, this little table area, that could be easily hidden among trees and shrubs, would be perfect for a candle lit date under the moon.
6. Spacious for entertainment
If you prefer patio over grass or have more space than you know what to do with, then a larger area could be just what you’re looking for. A design feature in itself, the pebble outlined seating area would be lovely for large families, parties or for a few people to sleep outside.
7. A bright place for a peaceful brunch
A lovely selection of blues for a bright meditation style seating area. The small table is easily moveable if you wanted to stretch your legs and perfect size for a meal for one, or two if they’re snacks.
8. A great place to sit or sleep
A perfect place to stetch your legs out or sunbathe in style. This is a really unique piece of versatile furniture and is guaranteed comfort any way you use it.
9. A bright and earthy retreat
A very Mediterranean inspired space, the red walls are very striking and would really suit the bright sun. I like the idea of having a large plant pots to separate the seating area from the main patio.
10. A playful place for laughs and warm memories
Having a fun place like this tucked away somewhere would be a perfect way to unwind with some good friend and good drinks, sprawled on various cushions, pillows and blankets on a warm evening.
